I would’ve woke up at 7.30 am that day because i had an important job interview. And it was 1.30 am. Yes, everyone had insisted that Kyuhyun was coming to Spain on vacation and it was not a harassing plan from the start. But sometimes the heart weighs more than reason.
We had heard about his trip at 8 pm. His flight was scheduled to arrive at 5.45 am to Barajas. Nobody in their right mind would go to meet him at that time. The work, school, or the inability to approach urban transport had taken more than one idea. And while my roommate tried to do the same with me, I found someone who lives in Bilbao and knew Leo, @ metafora89,i was going to catch the first bus that came to T4. So I decided I had nothing better to do that night but to go to welcome Kyu,our Kyu at the airport.
So at this point we could not just turn around. Although it took me a while to find the bus stop, I jumped into the first bus I saw coming out of Cybele. And although I arrived before @ metafora89, I did not wait long. The nerves had not been present. As she arrived, I searched the internet for information about Kyu’s flight course, because there was nothing confirmed.
In short. We waited at 3 am on a Thursday at the airport without knowing whether or not he was coming or not to Spain. Were we crazy??,once we saw each other we eliminated the idea. The flight arrived at the T1 and we had to go there. So again we had to take a bus and move to another terminal. There very few people spend the night for different reasons. While some slept, we had to make time. It was about 4. And although the board said the plane would land at 5.45 am, on the AENA website was said the expected arrival was at 5.05. Just an hour later. And meanwhile, what do you do? Well the cafes were closed so we opted for a chocolate croissant to regain strength, and talk about what might happen. If he would be tired, if not, whether it was a macabre joke of K-elf … There were also rumors that he was not coming alone, but Ryewook and Sungmin were also coming with him. So,the flight lands at 5.32 am,It’s here. We had reached that state of excitement where you start laughing for no reason.Early travelers begin to appear. First one, then a couple, then a group. There must have been some problems with the bags because they were spending too much time with one another.So much that the batteries in my camera, which had already been prepared a while,decided that enough is enough. Good thing i had my cellphone that save us from this trouble.I recorded two videos,basically one of the ground and the other one of the Mr.Simple photo i had. Aigoooo ¿WHERE IS HIM? As the doors open we take a look at what happens inside. There were still many people around the luggage line.
‘I see someone suspicious. I didn’t know if it was him,but he was wearing a gray hat and headphones - thank goodness at the night vision of @metafora89 it help a little.
- Headphones!? Then he cant hear my sweet voice!
A part of our plan of approaching him was to talk to him. Little by little our plan seem it was not going to work. Suddenly someone comes out. A tall guy with dyed hair, dressed in modern design. It seems like an idol. But no, it’s no Kyu. :(
We continue to monitor the flight attendants and other passengers that were coming out. And suddenly,out of nowhere, as if we had never expected this,he appears. We thought he would come out from a lot of people. We thought maybe it might be imposible to see him.But there he was, it was him. HE LOOKED US!! And we looked back at him.
-Annyeonghaseyo! - My voice trembles a lot. And then something happens,something that we didn’t expected. Kyuhyun, our Kyu, laugh at us. In our faces. I was still in shock, I recorded the wonderful ground of Barajas. He turns and continues on his way to the exit, like nothing happened.Here is my chance.I’ve been waiting here all night to let him go just like that.

-Mianhé - banmal,I give him another pen, a normal one, but with the low light (still night ) you cant tell if it writes or not. We didn’t think so, again Mianhé and looks for another good pen. In this case @metafora89 makes an appearance with a black permanent pen.Now I can say I have two signed photos from the evil maknae. He gives me one of the pictures back and i give him the last picture to sign. This time he uses his suitcase as support and ends signing immediately. We thank him a thousand times and let him go. Or not?
Yes, we let him go, but we realize that he was very lost.He passes the taxi area and goes to the bus, trying to understand what it says on the signs. This is when we become bipolar and we couldn’t reach an agreement on whether to help him or not. The conversation goes something like:
- Can we help?

I must say that the temptation to get on the same bus as him was great, but it seemed too much. Of course if we would have known that someone would try to rob him at knife point,we would have accompanied him,but understand that we didn’t imagine something like that will happen.We just wanted to leave him alone and give him space. Let’s see, what we would’ve done if we were on the same bus? Talk to him,take pictures,record him? Surely that would’ve make him feel uncomfortable and that was not going to be good.We already got his signature,so with that we left.

So, this is the story of how I met Cho Kyuhyun, my first and ultimate bias. He isn’t just a bias to me but the one I’ll follow till I die. This is the second time I see him. When he arrived at the airport, as I work there, I met him when he was waiting to pick up his luggage.

Despite the critics being out to put him down, Kim Heechul unbearably pretended to be alright.
Shortly after this incident, Lee DongHae’s father passed away on August 8th of 2006.At a time where he lost his father who supported him and gave him the courage to be who he is today, he was unable to show his tears,
He smiled constantly to the reporters who came to take photos of him during the funeral because he wanted to protect the other members from any sort of criticisms.
Throughout the 2nd and 3rd album, his thanks to section was dedicated to his dad, who had protected him.
On August 10th of 2006, Kim HeeChul was involved in a car accident on his way back to Seoul after attending Lee DongHae’s fathers funeral.
Because of the accident, Kim HeeChul was unable to dance, more likely dance on stage with his members due to the endless pain.
Rather than being understanding, he was criticized for being human.
Questioning why he was still alive, yet Kim HeeChul still smiled.
Kim HeeChul made his comeback stage on November 25, 2006. From the day he returned up until around April or May of 2007, Kim HeeChul had metal rods in his legs that gave him pain through his legs. He put on a smile and performed for E.L.F’s despite the unbearable pain he felt.
Yet, Netizen’s still made comments like “Is it elementary school dance?”
Kim HeeChul was still able to smile.
On April 19th of 2007, another car accident had occurred.
Two managers, LeeTeuk, EunHyuk, ShinDong and KyuHyun were involved in this accident.

LeeTeuk and KyuHyun were unable to participate due to health reasons, though LeeTeuk was able to take part in it.

People began to treat both Super Junior and ELF’s in a disrespectful manner.
In order for ELF’s to avoid Super Junior being scolded for their actions, ELF’s began a “becoming a kindhearted ELF’s project” in order to respond to criticisms with a forgiving manner.
Soon after, the issue of Super Junior Only 13 becamse of an unknown person playing the violin in the middle part of Don’t Don.
As a result, ELF’s began their protestation of “the defense of 13” in January of 2008.
The person playing the violin in the middle part of ‘Don’t don’ was a stranger to all of us and there were rumors that he would join Super Junior.
ELFs started opposition, as a result.
Sub-units were created in Super Junior throughout the years of debuting beginning with Super Junior KRY on November 25, 2006. Super Junior-T debuted on February 23rd of 2007. On April 8th of 2008, Super Junior-M had debuted. On May 30th of 2008, Super Junior Happy debuted with members of the other sub-units.
Super Junior M consisted of two Chinese members, Henry & Zhou Mi.
Many fans protested the idea of a 15 member Super Junior.
Soon after, Super Junior became known as SuperJunior13 + 2.
On March 12th of 2009, Super Junior returned with their 3rd album, Sorry Sorry without Kim KiBum.
Sorry Sorry became a popular hit worldwide.
Soon after, KangIn was involved in a violent drunken incident.
It resulted in a lot of criticisms and insults.
Despite what anyone was said, Super Junior members, ELF’s and close friends knew the truth and believed in KangIn.
While KangIn was off-screen, the lawsuit between HanKyung and SM exploded.
On May 13, 2010, Super Junior released their 4th album, Bonamona with only 10 members.
At this very moment today, Super Junior consists of 13+2 members, being active as 10+2.
KiBum is currently pursuing solo activities, but he is still considered a member of Super Junior.
KangIn is currently enlisted in the army serving his military service.
HanKyung has terminated his contract with SM as of June 13, 2010.
Despite all the criticisms and comments, Super Junior still smiled at ELF’s.
When receiving awards, LeeTeuk never forgets to mentions the other 3 members while 10 are standing on stage.
Always saying Thank You, “including these three members” unable to speak of their names.
Now, you wonder why I am writing this? Because no matter what Super Junior still continues to smile. ELF’s continue to believe.
If you don’t recall, all they ever wanted to do was apologize to us. All they’ve ever done was apologize to us.
So please, if ever Super Junior is to be scolded, put the blame on us ELF’s.
They have cried so many tears, worked so hard to be where they are and the only thing we can do is love and support them. So the next time a criticism is made, please criticize us ELFs because Super Junior has done nothing wrong. All they have ever done was give to us.
Please don’t make our leader cry anymore.

They put on a mask to show us they can be strong, they can survive as long as we’re on their side.
They’re people too, they have feelings. Please be considerate of them because all they do is smile at us despite how they’re really feeling.
